Senior Product Designer
Tradeling.com is a Dubai government funded start up, set up in September 2019 and is operated by Blink Technologies FZCO, headquartered at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, UAE. Tradeling.com is intended to become the dominant B2B marketplace for the MENA region by simplifying and enhancing digital B2B trade through a centralized, digital and safe procurement platform. It will offer value added services that will include finance and logistics. Launched in Q1 of 2020, with multiple categories ranging from office supplies, food and beverage, and health and wellness. Position Overview
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic Associate Product Manager who is passionate about building Products. Our ideal candidate will be championing the customer experience evolution for both buyers and sellers using the Tradeling platform. The ideal candidate has experience of using data-driven insights to deliver key capabilities to respond to the needs of the business.
The position is located in our Dubai headquarters and will report directly to the Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities:
Product Analysis and Execution
- Work on product priorities to deliver the maximum value by focussing on business benefit
- Support the full product life cycle- ideation, validation, technical development, launch and continuous improvement
- Gather requirements for product development by conducting interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions
- Deliver detailed requirements and produce documentation to support the design and engineering teams
- Work closely with QA teams and actively test the product features to ensuring a quality product is delivered to production
- Champion the needs of business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives of the project
- Own the product-market fit by validating key areas of the product through frequent market feedback via concept testing, analytics, A/B testing, surveys, POCs, and other frameworks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a product management role (web, mobile and app)
- Demonstrable experience of building products with data and insights
- Experience of Scrum or exposure to and the aptitude to learn
- Experience in Project Management with the ability to meet and drive to deadlines is desirable
- Basic understanding of Systems Architecture is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work across multiple teams and tight timelines
- Experience in launching successful products in tight timeframes
- A history of accountability and exceeding expectations
- Ability to operate collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
- Attention to detail
- B2B marketplace understanding is desirable
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced degree is desirable
